Project Managers | MA

Tocci has immediate openings for Project Managers. This position reports to the Director of Project Management.


  • Manage Stakeholder Relationships: Act as primary liaison with the Owner, Architect and Engineers. Maintain an excellent relationship with primary stakeholders through accurate and timely communication
  • Participate in Pre-construction Planning: Facilitate pre-construction planning to develop project goals and objectives; constructability analysis; staffing analysis; risk analysis and risk management planning; subcontractor selection guidelines; mobilization and logistics plan; and set up of all project management protocols and systems
  • Contract Compliance: Read and understand the Prime Contract. Assure project team understands contractual obligations including unusual or risk-laden requirements. Assure subcontracts are in sync with the Prime Contract and that CM obligations and liabilities flow down to the subcontractors. Monitor compliance throughout project execution
  • Schedule Development and Management: Develop preliminary and Level 3 Master Schedule; provide input to and review of 3-week Look Ahead Schedules and co-manage issue mediation and development of recovery schedules
  • Documentation and Reporting Management: Develop and direct the set-up of the documentation and reporting protocols and systems. Direct the Assistant Project Manager in managing the Submittal and Request for Information processes. Assure on-time and accurate reporting including the Monthly Progress Report
  • Cost Management: Develop Schedule of Values. Co-lead Purchasing and Buyout with the Vice President Cost Engineering and Planning. Coordinate with Financing and Accounting to manage Requisitions and Payments. Control Changes and Claims. Run and analyze cost reports and use cost data to drive project profitability
  • Close-out Management: Direct the Assistant Project Manager through the Close-out process. Procure the last payment, assure Zero Claims, and facilitate quality control and assurance as well as commissioning
  • Warranty Period Oversight: Manage all issues related to warranty and guarantee claims during the one year warranty period
  • Meetings: Lead Owner meetings and participate in all other project meetings as a leader, facilitator, mediator or key contributor
  • Effectively communicate with all levels of the organization
  • Maintain excellent client service


  • Bachelor of Science in construction technology, construction management, architecture, a building engineering science or equivalent. Commitment to on-going professional development
  • Experience: 7+ years project management in commercial construction on projects valued $10m+
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong capabilities in Outlook, Microsoft Word, and Excel
  • Focused on working at a high level and producing accurate and on time work product under changing priorities and deadlines. Enjoys learning
  • Desire to serve the needs and goals of the team
  • Performance of the required duties will require physical ability to walk and climb work areas under construction. Good vision and fine motor coordination also required. While on-site the employee is exposed to moving mechanical parts; high precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; outside weather conditions and moderate to very loud noise.
