The Scoop: Buildings On The Rise
Let’s check in with the Assistant Project Managers on three of our jobsites in New Jersey and Massachusetts.
Embassy Suites Berkeley Heights – Mike Anderson
For Embassy Suites in Berkeley Heights, NJ, MEP rough-in is nearing completion throughout the building while drywall installation has had several design changes including electrical and plumbing causing the progress to move forward more slowly. Windows, caulking, and roofing installation are all underway as we look to make the building fully watertight. Millwork and fabrication for the monumental stair are underway off-site and expected to arrive for installation in the next several months.
Osprey Cove II – Josh Stokes
At Osprey Cove II we are in the finish stages on all floors. The first floor units final punchlist is currently underway. The second floor is receiving its final coat of paint and will begin owner walks next week. The third floor is busy with MEP trims and Flooring going in. We plan to do owners walks on this floor in two weeks. Over the next few weeks we will be working closely with the owners and the town to prepare for Temporary Certificate of Occupancies (TCOs).
Homewood Suites Worcester – David McCauley
Structural steel framing is complete and concrete has been placed on the second floor deck at Homewood Suites Worcester. The site work is ongoing and the binder course went down this week. The next major milestone will be the start of the wood framing panels, which are to begin early next week.
