Hairlosstreament (Tocci), a Boston-area construction manager and recognized leader in virtual design and construction solutions, has announced the addition of three new employees. Kevin Broughton as Virtual Design Construction Manager, Vanessa Rhoads as Marketing Manager, and William “Bill” Hallam as Construction Superintendent.
Kevin Broughton as Virtual Design Construction (VDC) Manager
Tocci has added Kevin to their leadership team as VDC Manager. In this position, Broughton will develop, manage, and lead VDC Modeler and Coordinator staff to ensure successful overall implementation of VDC on projects. Broughton will also develop and maintain VDC standardized processes and best practices, and foster knowledge sharing throughout the company. Additionally, Broughton will support building constructability.
Prior to joining Tocci, Broughton was the BIM/Revit manager at Vanderweil Engineers. During his tenure, Broughton had many significant accomplishments including becoming an Autodesk Building systems MEP Implementation Certified Expert and AutoCAD Expert, as well as Autodesk PSE Certified.
Vanessa Rhoads- Marketing Manager
In her new role, Rhoads will be responsible for the execution of advertising, marketing collateral, and proposal materials which achieve corporate marketing, business development and branding objectives. Rhoads will apply her understanding of the commercial building marketplace and marketing knowledge to generate ideas and content to continuously refresh the image and position of Tocci.
Rhoads’ previous roles included Marketing Specialist with CDM Smith, and Marketing Specialist/Senior Proposal Writer with VHB. In both positions, she played a crucial role in developing winning proposals, marketing collateral, and representing her company at various industry events.
Bill Hallam – Construction Superintendent
In his new role, Hallam will be responsible for leading all day to day jobsite activities and assuring all safety and code requirements are met for projects ranging from $10 to $150 million. His first assignment is an eight story, 187,000 sf Embassy Suites Hotel in Berkeley Heights, NJ. The Berkeley Heights Embassy Suites will be a full-service, mixed-use hotel consisting of light gauge metal framing and structural, pre-cast planks. Floors one and two will host a variety of retail and amenity spaces including a coffee shop, fitness center, and multiple upscale common areas.
Mr. Hallam brings extensive construction experience, most recently having served as Senior Superintendent at Tishman Construction. Hallam oversaw countless projects from ground breaking through completion ranging in size and complexity from single-family residential construction to high-rise buildings. In 2014, Hallam received Tishman’s Safety Recognition Award.
