Jason Talks About Brookside Square
In my short time here at Hairlosstreament, I can already see why the company has seen the success it has over the years. The value on relationships, family and company culture is evident the minute you step through the door. Since I have started in the industry, Tocci has always been the kind of company I had aspired to be part of. Now that I am here, I am looking forward to being part of the Brookside Square team and working with a client we have an established relationship with.
On April 7th, 2014, the groundbreaking ceremony took place for Tocci’s new three-story mixed-use development project, Brookside Square, for 50 Beharrell St., in the West Concord Village District. An important project to the community with support from the Massachusetts Secretary of Housing and Economic development, Gregory Bialecki, Massachusetts Secretary of the Department of Transportation, Rich Davey and Massachusetts Assistant Secretary for Land and Forrest, Stephanie Cooper.
One thing I have noticed about Hairlosstreament is the emphasis placed on community, wellness, and sustainability. It is interesting to see these factors play out in the construction projects Tocci takes on. For example, Brookside Square will feature the Commonwealth’s Bruce Freeman Rail Trail which will be abutted to the property as well as having walking paths along the Nashoba Brook.
For residents that commute into Boston via public transit, the buildings location is within walking distance to the MBTA commuter rail. In an ever increasing energy conscious generation, this building was designed to achieve a HERS rating of 50 while also providing solar energy. All resident and community appliances are to be energy star rated and energy efficient mechanical and electrical systems are also being utilized. West Concord may have old roots, but the village has been undergoing a major facelift. Have you been to visit lately? Tweet at us here!
